FAQ's Do you hold public liability insurance? Yes. I do have public liability insurance and will be happy to provide and insurance certificate.. Do you have a minimum booking time? Yes. As a rule, there is a minimum booking of 2 hours. If you have a special situation that requires less time, I will consider the job on a case-by-case basis. How many children can you accommodate in one hour? Each child will need at least 5 minutes per service. For example: face painting and balloon for each child equals 10 minutes per child. Henna tattoos require 15-20 minutes per person or more. Can you paint and twist balloons within the theme of my child's party? Absolutely! Just let me know the theme of the party when booking and I will make sure to have some designs ready for the event. How soon should I book? As soon as the date is confirmed. Obviously, the nearer to the date of the party you get the less chance you have of my being available. Will I need to pay a deposit? There is a $25 non-refundable deposit. This deposit goes toward the final fee. What do I need to provide? Access to running water and a safe working environment. What areas do you cover? I cover most of the towns and cities in the Eastern Panhandle, some in Northern VA & MD . Please contact me to find out if I cover your location. If not, I probably know of another entertainer nearer to you. Rates*** Private Parties Corporate Events $80 per hour, for 1 service with a 2 hour min. $100 per hour for 1 service with a 2 hour min. $80 for 3rd hour, $40 for each additional hour. $100 for 3rd hour, $50 for each additional hour. ***Each additional service is $20 more per hour. Thus a private party wanting face painting and balloons is $100 per hour. Coming in costume is an additional $10 per hour. Rates do not include travel. The first 15 miles coming and going are included in my fees. Beyond zip 25414, it is $.50 per mile. Additionally, rates/hours start over with each new day of work. Schools, Churches and Charities I would love to help! While I am unable to donate my time and materials for free, I have worked a discount for schools, churches and charities which is half off my hourly corporate rate of $100 for the first two hours. Thus $50 per hour for the first two hours, full price for the next two and then half price for any remaining hours. This would mean that my payment would come out of your budget, but you could charge patrons to regain some of that cost. You are free to charge for the face painting to raise money or recoup your costs, but you would need to supply a volunteer to handle ALL money, change and/or selling tickets. Tips will be accepted and kept by the entertainer. I will bring everything I need with me, right down to a chair and table. I am able to work in a fairly small amount of space an can fit in most corners with no trouble. In additional to my table and chair, I can also supply a tent for corporate events. If you are concerned about costs, many clients sell tickets for my services to recoup expenses! My entertainment is perfect for school or church events!
